By accessing and using the Tororo Mixed Secondary School Library Management System ("the System"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the System.

The Library Management System provides:

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

- Any third-party educational resources integrated into the system
- Metadata, descriptions, and categorization of all materials
4.2 Copyright Compliance
The School is responsible for ensuring that all content provided through the System:
- Complies with applicable copyright laws and regulations
- Is properly licensed for educational use
- Does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of third parties
- Is used in accordance with fair use principles where applicable
4.3 User Indemnification
Users are hereby indemnified and held harmless by the School for any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from:
- Copyright infringement claims related to content provided by the School
- Intellectual property disputes involving materials accessed through the System
- Any legal issues arising from the School's provision of educational content
- Claims related to the School's use of third-party APIs or content sources
4.4 Content Usage Rights
Users may:
- Download and use materials for personal educational purposes
- Access content for academic research and study
- Use materials in accordance with their intended educational purpose
Users may NOT:
- Redistribute or share downloaded materials with unauthorized persons
- Use content for commercial purposes without explicit permission
- Modify or create derivative works from copyrighted materials
- Remove copyright notices or attribution from materials
5. Digital Rights Management
5.1 API Content Integration
The System may integrate content from various educational APIs and databases. The School is responsible for:
- Ensuring proper licensing agreements with all content providers
- Maintaining compliance with API terms of service
- Handling any copyright or licensing disputes that may arise
- Providing appropriate attribution for all sourced content
5.2 Content Monitoring
The School will:
- Regularly monitor content for copyright compliance
- Respond promptly to any copyright infringement notices
- Remove or replace content that violates intellectual property rights

7. System Availability and Modifications
7.1 Service Availability
- We strive to maintain continuous service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access

- We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions
7.2 System Modifications
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the System at any time

9. Indemnification by School
The School agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless all users from and against any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:
- Any copyright or intellectual property infringement claims related to content provided by the School
- Any violation of third-party rights in materials made available through the System
- Any claims arising from the School's use of third-party APIs or content sources
- Any legal actions related to the School's provision of educational content
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by User
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting the school administration or using the account deletion feature (if available).
10.2 Termination by School
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the System will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do:

- We will notify users of significant changes via email or system notification
- Your continued use of the System after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
13. Severability
